Leah
Samantha
Advanced Dog Groomer & Owner of The Paws Pack UK
Sam is the owner of The Paws Pack UK and an Advanced Dog Groomer. She started her grooming journey self-taught before going on to
gain her professional qualifications, and in 2026 took the exciting step into grooming competitions. At her very first competition,
she was thrilled to win Best Technique out of 92 competitors! 🏆✂️
Samantha loves the creative side of grooming, particularly when an owner gives her complete freedom to create a look that
suits their dog. Her favourite breed to groom is the Standard Poodle, while her overall breed favourites include
Rottweilers, Long-Haired German Shepherds and pretty much any black and tan dog! 🐶
Outside of work, Samantha loves property renovation, travelling and spending time with her family and rather large
collection of animals. Her soul dog Loki and her rescue girl Pippa (pictured here) regularly come to work with her —
although they're both convinced they're actually the bosses! 😂
Her current dream holiday is Australia, where she hopes to visit a friend she hasn't seen for 14 years. Until then, you'll
usually find her up a ladder renovating, enjoying a cup of tea (never coffee!) or walking around Wayoh Reservoir or Upper
Roddlesworth Reservoirs.
Sam is incredibly proud of how The Paws Pack UK has grown since 2019, particularly the opportunities it has created for young
people wanting to build a career working with animals, including supporting Myerscough College in their work experience programme
for the last five years. Above all, she's grateful to have built a business that allows her to spend her days doing something she genuinely loves. 💙🐾
Assistant Manager & Qualified Dog Groomer
Leah joined The Paws Pack after building over five years of experience working with animals, having previously worked
in dog walking and kennels. She qualified as a dog groomer in early 2025 and has quickly become an important part
of our grooming team, alongside her role as Assistant Manager.
Leah particularly enjoys grooming working breeds, with a special love for Springer Spaniels. One of her favourite
parts of the job is being able to bring her own Springer Spaniel, Summer, to work with her and watching her
make friends with all of our lovely client dogs. 🐶💙
After watching Samantha compete in grooming competitions throughout 2026, Leah has caught the competition
bug herself and is looking forward to taking part in her first competition in October.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with Summer and has recently discovered a love for camping and
paddleboarding. She’s also a big foodie and, despite being vegetarian, loves trying new cuisines and discovering
new favourite dishes! 🌮🍜
Her dream holidays would be exploring Canada or New Zealand, and she’s always up for a new adventure.
Leah brings plenty of enthusiasm, experience and a genuine love for animals to everything she does, and we’re very proud
to have her as part of The Paws Pack UK team. 💙🐾
amelia
Groomer’s Assistant
Amelia first joined The Paws Pack in 2024 for work experience through our partnership with Myerscough College. It didn’t take long for us to
realise just how special she was! She was fantastic at her job, fitted into the team brilliantly and, most importantly, was absolutely amazing
with the dogs. So, naturally, we couldn’t let her leave — and we offered her a permanent position with us! 🐶💙
Amelia may only be 5ft tall, but don’t let that fool you! 😂 She’s strong, charismatic and has a natural way with dogs
that makes her a firm favourite with our four-legged team — especially our VIP (Very Important Pup!) Pippa the German Shepherd. 🐾
The word resilient probably doesn’t even do Amelia justice. At a young age, she faced leukemia and showed it exactly what she
thought of it by beating it. 💙 We couldn’t be prouder of the person she has grown into and everything she has achieved.
And she certainly hasn’t stopped there! Amelia recently passed her driving test 🚗🎉 and has also qualified as a nail technician,
running her own little business, Nails By Amelia Grace, in her spare time. 💅✨
More recently, Amelia welcomed another VIP into The Paws Pack UK family — her gorgeous Golden Labrador, Moose! 🐶💙 She’s
loving teaching him new tricks and, knowing Amelia, he’ll soon have quite the repertoire!
The handsome chap joining Amelia in this photo is Albus, a Sporting Lucas Terrier, who is clearly very happy to have her all to himself! 🐾
We feel incredibly lucky that a work experience placement brought Amelia through our doors. She has become such a valued part of The Paws Pack team and we can’t wait to see where her determination, talent and small but mighty personality take her next! 💙🐾

charlotte
Pack Leader & Pet Sitter
Charlotte joined The Paws Pack UK Walking & Pet Sitting LTD in 2025 and managed to win us over immediately during the interview
process — so she must have made quite a good first impression! 😂
She’s one of the funny, outgoing members of the team and brings plenty of personality to her days with the pack. One of Charlotte’s
hidden talents is her rather impressive ability to do accents and impressions, particularly her Scottish accent. In fact, when she first joined
us, the team genuinely thought she was Scottish! 😂
Alongside working with The Paws Pack UK Walking & Pet Sitting LTD, Charlotte is studying History at the University of Lancashire and
is currently working on her dissertation, which focuses on punk music. 🎸📚
Charlotte absolutely loves spending her days with the dogs and has even introduced a new tradition to their journeys — sing-alongs on
the way to and from their walkies! 🎶🐶 Her current favourites include The Who, ABBA and Lana Del Rey, although we’re not sure all
of the dogs appreciate her choice of playlist quite as much as she does! 😂
Outside of work and university, Charlotte loves travelling and camping with her boyfriend Alfie, who has become an honorary member
of The Paws Pack UK Walking & Pet Sitting LTD team! 🏕️💙
She also has her own four-legged companion, Bessie, a Patterdale Terrier who Charlotte rescued. 🐾
We’re so pleased that Charlotte became part of our team. Her infectious personality, love of dogs and ability to make even the dogs’ journeys to and from their walks an adventure make her a brilliant addition to The Paws Pack UK Walking & Pet Sitting LTD team. 💙🐶
Pack Leader & Pet Sitter
Giulia is the newest member of the team, joining The Paws Pack UK Walking & Pet Sitting LTD in early spring 2026. Originally from
Turin, Italy, Giulia has lived in the UK for many years and has now become rather permanently settled — she’s even marrying an
Englishman! 💙
Giulia and Thomas are getting married in 2027, and we’re already very excited to celebrate with them! 💍🥂
Calm, collected and incredibly capable, Giulia is absolutely brilliant with the dogs and takes everything the job throws at her
completely in her stride. Nothing seems to phase her, whether she’s dealing with a muddy adventure, a particularly
enthusiastic pup or one of those days where everything happens at once! 😂🐾
Although Giulia doesn’t have any pets of her own, you certainly wouldn’t know it from the way she loves our pack members.
She has a particular soft spot for Ghillie the Boxer, pictured here, and gives all of our dogs the same love and attention as if
they were her own. 🐶💙
And then there’s Giulia’s fun side… apparently, walking dogs is also the perfect opportunity to teach them Italian! 🇮🇹😂 Ruby the
Labrador cross is reportedly becoming rather good at it, although we’re yet to establish exactly what vocabulary she’s picked up! 🐶
We’re so pleased Giulia became part of the team. Her calm nature, genuine love for the dogs and ability to take everything in her stride
make her a wonderful addition to The Paws Pack UK Walking & Pet Sitting LTD. 💙🐾
Joshua
Pack Leader & Pet Sitter
Josh is the youngest member of The Paws Pack UK Walking & Pet Sitting LTD, but at over 6ft tall, he’s definitely the tallest! 😂 He joined the team
in summer 2025 and works with us part-time around his studies at the University of Lancashire, where he’s studying Mechanical Engineering.
Josh is so easy-going and laid-back that he’s practically horizontal! 😂 But when it comes to the high-energy world of dog walking, he
always steps up to the plate and takes on whatever the day throws at him. 🐶🐾
Josh doesn’t have any pets of his own, but his favourite breeds are Labradors and Dachshunds — so naturally, he gets plenty of
opportunities to spend time with both while out with our pack! 💙
Outside of The Paws Pack UK Walking & Pet Sitting duties, Josh is an Explorer Leader with the Scouts, which means plenty of his spare
time is spent travelling and getting involved in adventures with the group. Over the last two summers alone, he’s helped take more
than 40 young people to Switzerland and, most recently, Canada! 🇨🇭🇨🇦🏕️
Josh also loves travelling with his family. Being half Portuguese, they’re big fans of warmer climates and like to get away whenever they
can! ☀️✈️
But don’t worry — even when Josh is off exploring the world, he doesn’t forget about the dogs! He makes sure to send the pack leaders
photographs of every dog he spots on his travels. 😂🐶
We’re so pleased Josh became part of the team. His calm, easy-going nature, willingness to get stuck in and genuine love for the dogs make him a brilliant member of The Paws Pack UK Walking & Pet Sitting LTD. 💙🐾
